Quality Control

We implement a strict traceability system ensuring product ID from cultivation to consumption. Our supervisors oversee every stage -farming, drying, sorting, processing, sampling, storing, analysis, packaging, handling, shipping, and exporting—alongside regular inspections to ensure compliance with Organic Farming regulations.

Our validated quality assurance testing includes:

  • Organoleptic testing to ensure proper appearance, color, aroma, and flavor.
  • Microscopic and Macroscopic inspection for foreign matter.
  • Identification, to verify purity and authenticity.
  • Heavy metal analysis performed as per our customer’s request.
  • Microbiology testing for pathogens such as E. coli and salmonella.
  • Chemical analyses for moisture content, volatile oil, ash, and acid-insoluble ash.
  • Pesticide residues analysis

Our raw material and final products must have the following tests and checks:

  • Labeling and traceability compliance    
  •  Purity percentage
  • Packing material (clean and sealed) 
  •  Color     • Odor
  • Taste      • Percentage of oils            
  • Size         • Insects and mold infections
  •  Moisture percentage
  • Pesticide residues
  • Reception test records should be filed and kept with all test analysis results

Our Standards

Our packing department ensures defect-free products by strictly following EU standards, including hygiene (Regulation EC No 852/2004) and ISO 22000 for conventional products. We comply with Regulations EC No. 834/2007 and 889/2008 for organic products. Quality control includes thorough physical and chemical testing (pesticides, microbiology, aflatoxins) in accredited labs across Egypt and Europe.

We have a comprehensive allergen prevention program with strict controls to avoid cross-contamination during manufacturing.

Metal Detection

Metal contamination is a critical risk, controlled through two prevention stages: ① strong magnets at machinery inputs and outputs, ② metal detectors before final packaging.

Controlled Processing

At each stage of production, our quality control staff inspects and approves each product before it is allowed to proceed to the next process.

Laboratory Analysis

Random raw material samples are tested to ensure authenticity and compliance with our and customers’ standards. Lot samples are stored for two years for traceability. Testing includes organoleptic for aroma, color, flavor, and texture, physical (moisture, cut size), and chemical analyses (volatile oils, heavy metals, microbiology, pesticide residues, etc.).
